This set of four paintings gains strength when viewed as a whole, although each piece also has its own interpretation and value. It is one of Dino's most recent works and symbolically conveys the artist's vision of the human journey. A ribbon appears as the central element, accompanied by symbols that represent different stages of life and the process of personal development.
The first painting highlights the life project, symbolized by a structure under construction; in the last, the roots — deep and valuable — take center stage, reflecting maturity and the accumulation of experiences over time. Metaphors and symbolism are the vehicle chosen by Dino to communicate his interpretation of the world and existence.
The work clearly bears his personal mark: it is painted on the back of the canvas, with an explicit division into four parts. The horizontal lines, ascending and descending, represent growth and its rhythms; while the vertical lines convey pauses and moments of reflection. This series, entitled "Life is not a straight line", marks the beginning of a theme that Dino intends to continue exploring.
