Just for today... | SDG 2 - Eradicate hunger

Hunger, portrayed through the collection of food from rubbish, is a stark and silent reality that persists even in developed societies. The work confronts us with this reality, contrasting it with decent housing as a symbol of food security and dignity, and again the tree as a metaphor for social mobility and regeneration.

More than denouncing, this painting aims to provoke. It is a call for empathy and transformation, inviting the viewer to rethink their role in eradicating hunger and promoting a society where ‘just for today’ is not the only hope for so many.
