Ensaio para o equilíbrio (no caos)

In this 2x40x30 cm diptych, Dino proposes a visual and conceptual exercise around the tension between matter and form, order and instability. The work, executed with acrylic, plaster and white glue, emerges as an essay – not in the sense of an unfinished work, but as a free and investigative exploration of an essential idea: the search for balance in the midst of turbulence. The pictorial gesture assumes itself as an emotional and constructive impulse, fusing technique with intuition.

The two canvases, although autonomous, live in a subtle complementarity. The dense matter rises like burning fragments, suggesting structures that resist and dissolve at the same time. The broad and almost cosmic spirals contrast with the more textured density, as if the inner storm found visual expression. It is at the point of friction between impulse and control, between embodied chaos and latent order, that this essay finds its place – as a metaphor for creation, life and art.
